![]() They were very generous with the drinks in the evening (3 hours) but we found the food served for happy hour lackluster at best (chicken which should have been hot but was barely warm with fries, some little sandwiches which were very basic, etc). ![]() It was well positioned for a walk along the creek as well.Īs Titanium member we enjoyed the breakfast (all staff should feel empowered to ask guests to wear masks to keep others safe within the buffet areas, but they didn't) and we attended the evening happy hours as well. The rooms are modern and spacious, and we moved the couch over so we could gaze at the river. Our room had a gorgeous view and each evening we would open the floor to ceiling doors and watch the boats on the river. It is also close (15 min walk) to a metro station which gives you access to most places you would wish to travel. The area is great for wandering around Al Seef which has a number of eating places. Our cleaners did however keep our water and toiletry supplies topped up. I would advise however that you read the small print very carefully before signing up for this as technically the housekeeping staff should not enter your room if the sign is displayed on the door. You get rewarded with a free house drink in the bar or 500 Bonvoy Points for every night you opt for no change of linen. The hotel operate a 'Green Choice' system where you can opt out of daily towel and linen changes. All staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The pool area was very nice with attentive waiters. The food was very nice and portions quite large. We only had one meal in the hotel, in The Vivaldi Restaurant. I am sure this would not be the case at other times of the year. ![]() Breakfast in the Vivaldi Restaurant was really good however due to the fact it was The Festive Period and the hotel was fully booked, there was often a queue for tables and a shortage of staff to remake the tables. The staff in the Club lounge were very friendly and attentive and kept your drinks topped up regularly. Happy hour between 18:30 and 20:30 served alcoholic beveridges and hot and cold snacks. Afternoon tea was served between 15:00 and 17:00. Refreshments were available all day - tea, coffee and soft drinks. The 'Club rooms' included breakfast, which could be taken in the club lounge (continental) or in the restaurant (full cooked breakfast). Each day we received 6 half litre bottles of water. The toilet had a seperate bath and large shower. The room was very nice and spacious with fantastic views of the Creek and the Business District. We booked this hotel last minute as part of a week long Emirates Holiday.
